Well looks like Tip proved the critics wrong, not only did Trouble Man sell a surprising 179,000 its first week it also landed at the number 2 spot on the charts this week, congrats Tip!

Last week hip hop album sales made little change on the charts, Drake held down his spot coming in at #4 with 32,000 totaling out to 1,321,000,Young Jeezy dropped down to #6 selling only 24,000 with a total of 361,000 sales since the release of TM103 , Yo Gotti’s debut album Live From The Kitchen landed at #12 on the charts selling a disappointing 15,000, Watch The Throne stayed steady at #25 with 13,000 which makes it 1,261,000 sales to date, also Carter 4 added to its total number of sales with bringing in 12,000 that makes 1,947,000 for Weezy. Common’s The Dreamer/The Believer came in at 8,500 and Wale’s Ambition 6,100 via HipHopDX.
